“It came to me that every time I lose a dog they take a piece of my heart with them. And every new dog who comes into my life, gifts me with a piece of their heart. If I live long enough, all the components of my heart will be dog, and I will become as generous and loving as they are.”
We will always love you Hachi..you have been a wonderful friend to all of us. You brought so much happiness and memories that we will surely remember. May you find the special place where there is no fear, nor sorrow, no pain but everlasting peace.
I will surely miss you…
One of my favorite poems is Kahlil Gibran’s On Joy and Sorrow. These two things are inseparable in one’s life. One cannot exist without the other. You may wish to have all the joy in life, but life would not be life at all without sorrow. This timeless poem explains it all.
Your joy is your sorrow unmasked.
And the selfsame well from which your laughter rises was oftentimes filled with your tears.
And how else can it be?
The deeper that sorrow carves into your being, the more joy you can contain.
Is not the cup that holds your wine the very cup that was burned in the potter’s oven?
And is not the lute that soothes your spirit, the very wood that was hollowed with knives?
When you are joyous, look deep into your heart and you shall find it is only that which has given you sorrow that is giving you joy.
When you are sorrowful look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight.
Some of you say, “Joy is greater thar sorrow,” and others say, “Nay, sorrow is the greater.”
But I say unto you, they are inseparable.
Together they come, and when one sits, alone with you at your board, remember that the other is asleep upon your bed.
Verily you are suspended like scales between your sorrow and your joy.
Only when you are empty are you at standstill and balanced.
When the treasure-keeper lifts you to weigh his gold and his silver, needs must your joy or your sorrow rise or fall.
I would like to share this wonderful poem by Maya Angelou. It certainly touched my heart and I hope it would also touch yours.
Read on.
“Touched by an Angel
We, unaccustomed to courage
exiles from delight
live coiled in shells of loneliness
until love leaves its high holy temple
and comes into our sight
to liberate us into life.
Love arrives
and in its train come ecstasies
old memories of pleasure
ancient histories of pain.
Yet if we are bold,
love strikes away the chains of fear
from our souls.
We are weaned from our timidity
In the flush of love’s light
we dare be brave
And suddenly we see
that love costs all we are
and will ever be.
Yet it is only love
which sets us free.”
— Maya Angelou
It had been so long since the last time I wrote my last blog here. For the past months I was monumentally busy with my work thus I didn’t have the time to update my thoughts here. But, now, I will try my best to come up again with new stories to tell, thoughts to share and things that will inspire me more.
I guess I am back.
I am back for good.

The movie is great but to have read the book is much even greater. The story is totally brilliant and breathtaking. It will make you realize all the richness in the world that you have…dreams, hope, friends, family, values, …so much gifts that in your everyday life you seem to unnoticed. The story will make you cry and yet will build courage in your heart.
I am not an expert on this matter but somehow I am blessed that I had felt this one way. =)
12 signs that your falling in love are;
12:You can’t really stay mad at them for more than one-two minutes, you have to try to stay mad at them.
11:You will read their messages over and over again.
10:You will walk really slow while your with them.
9:You will feel shy whenever your with them.
8:By listening to their voice you smile..For no reason.
7:While looking at them, You can’t see the other people around you..You can only see that person.
6:You will start to listen to slow songs.
5:They become all you think about.
4:You get high just by their scent when they’re close to you.
3:You realize that you always smile to yourself when you think of that person.
2:You do anything for them.
1:While reading this there was ONE person on your mind the WHOLE time!

I really really love this song…I am having a hard time posting the video here but, still I would recommend you must hear this song..=)
If you never say goodbye
To the best thing in your life
There are things you don’t appreciate
At all
So it’s best that you don’t try
Holding back the time
Are you ever gonna be
Quite satisfied
Postcard from heaven
Go to where you belong
Never find the perfect situation
Untill you know where you’re from
If you ever say goodbye
No regrets, I won’t ask why
And I wish you all the best luck
In the world
Should you ever change your mind
Holding back the sunshine
Are you ever gonna be
Quite satisfied
Postcard from heaven
Go to where you belong
Never find the perfect situation
Untill you know where you’re from
Postcard from heaven
Go to where you belong
Never find the perfect situation
Untill you know where you’re from
Postcard from heaven
Go to where you belong
Never find the perfect situation
Untill you know where you’re from

Hehehe.
3. ” Kung ayaw mong gawin. Wag mong gawin.” – Usaping household chores ‘to.
4. ” Bakit ba ang tagal tagal mo sa CR? Ano bang ginagawa mo? Sana isipin mo naman na may naghihintay sa labas.” – (Grabe Kuya, sobrang serious ka nung sinasabi mo ‘to nun… hahahha… as in..)
5. “Hindi lahat ng tao mabait katulad mo. Kaya wag kang nagtitiwala agad.” – Remember this? I am still keeping this in my mind.
6. “Ang kaibigan di nasusukat sa dami na meron ka. Ang mahalaga mayroong nandyan sa tabi mo sa panahon na kailangan mo ng isa.” – Whew!
7. “Papasa ka nga, pero may Integrity ba dun…?!” – This was the time na desperado na ko at feeling ko kailangan ko nang humanap ng ibang paraan. =)
8. “Pag sinabi kong babalikan kita…babalikan kita. Di ka dapat aalis.” – Hehehe. Laging taliwas ung mga location na sinasabi ko.
9. ” Wala kang aasahang iba kundi ang sarili mo. Ikaw at ikaw lang.” – Hmmm….
10. “Mag-iingat ka lagi. Pag gabi na, umuwi na.” – Hahaha.
